Cikarang, Indonesia—President University hosted Angga Nugraha (Founder of CRP Group; Warung Upnormal) and Achmad Ichsan Nasution (CEO Jackcloth) in a seminar titled “Challenge and Opportunity in Future Business” that was held in Charles Himawan Auditorium President University, located in Jababeka Industrial estate, Cikarang (11/4). This annual event was a part of Retail Business subject from Business Administration Program. The event aimed to encourage business students or other majors who want to start a business or want to know the future business environment.

Achmad Ichsan shared about his experience and knowledge on how he built his business from scratch. He was inspired by Bob Sadino when he was in college attended Bob’s seminar. From that moment, he made a promise to be a businessman. He started his clothing business when he faced a huge loss from his previous Event Organizer business. He started to sell clothes in his events and succeed to pay off his loss.

Furthermore, Angga brought the technical side of starting up a business. He explained that to start a business, strong reasons are needed and learn about business even though it might be hard. He also suggested that a business need a strong marketing.

"The most important thing after we have creative marketing content is to communicate the content to the consumer. Give additional value and build a strong positioning," said Angga.

The event run with a festive atmosphere and participants were very enthusiastic which can be seen by the critical questions raised in the question and answer session.

"I think the questions asked by students here are smart. I am pleased with the question from them, I think President University students have the opportunity to become a businessman," stated Angga.

The performance from 'Prime' dance club and the token of appreciation handover for the speakers officially ended the seminar.

"I hope students can make this seminar as an inspiration for those who want to establish their own business," concluded Achmad Ichsan.


Cikarang, Indonesia — President University mengundang Angga Nugraha (Pendiri Grup CRP; Warung Upnormal) dan Achmad Ichsan Nasution (CEO Jackcloth) dalam sebuah seminar bertajuk “Challenge and Opportunity in Future Business” yang diadakan di Charles Himawan Auditorium President University, berlokasi di Kawasan Industri Jababeka, Cikarang (11/4). Acara tahunan ini adalah bagian dari subjek Bisnis Ritel dari Program studi Administrasi Bisnis. Acara ini bertujuan untuk mendorong mahasiswa bisnis atau jurusan lain yang ingin memulai bisnis atau ingin mengetahui lingkungan bisnis di masa depan.

Achmad Ichsan berbagi tentang pengalaman dan pengetahuannya tentang bagaimana ia membangun bisnisnya dari nol. Dia terinspirasi oleh Bob Sadino ketika dia kuliah menghadiri seminar dari Bob. Sejak saat itu, dia berjanji akan menjadi pengusaha. Dia memulai bisnis pakaiannya ketika dia menghadapi kerugian besar dari bisnis Event Organizer sebelumnya. Dia mulai menjual pakaian di acara-acaranya dan berhasil melunasi kehilangannya.

Selanjutnya, Angga membawa sisi teknis dalam memulai sebuah bisnis. Dia menjelaskan bahwa untuk memulai bisnis, alasan kuat diperlukan dan perlu belajar tentang bisnis meskipun mungkin sulit. Dia juga menyarankan bahwa bisnis membutuhkan pemasaran yang kuat.

“Hal paling penting setelah kita memiliki content marketing yang kreatif adalah mengkomunikasi kontent tersebut kepada konsumen. Berikan value tambahan dan bangun positioning yang kuat,” ungkap Angga.

Acara ini berlangsung dengan meriah dan antusiasme dari para peserta tercermin dari pertanyaan-pertanyaan kritis yang diajukan saat sesi tanya jawab.

“Menurut saya pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh mahasiswa disini itu smart. Saya senang dengan pertanyaan dari mereka, saya anggap mahasiswa President University mempunyai kesempatan untuk menjadi pebisnis,” kata Angga.

Pertunjukan dari klub dance ‘Prime’ dan penyerahan token apresiasi untuk para pembicara mengakhiri seminar ini.

“Saya harap mahasiswa bisa menjadikan seminar ini sebagai inspirasi mereka yang ingin mendirikan bisnis mereka sendiri,” pungkas Achmad Ichsan.
