On Monday (9/4) April 2018, approximately 35 students, 2 lecturers and 1 staff of Study Program of Mechanical Engineering has a chance to visit PT Komatsu Undercarriage Indonesia (Komatsu). Komatsu is one of heavy equipment companies from Japan which operated in Indonesia.

"The company visit aimed to provide students the knowledge of heavy equipment industry and also its process," said Lydia Anggraeni, Head of Mechanical Engineering Study Program of President University. Previously, Mechanical Engineering Study Program has made partnership to make a teaching plant program with PT Bekasi Power.

During the visit to Komatsu, students and team welcomed by Aria Setyo, Director of Administration Department and Widodo Eko Cahyanto, Human Resource & General Affair Manager of PT Komatsu and took a tour to forging plant, heat treatment, production, assembling, and to Takumi Training Center.


Pada Senin (9/4) April 2018, sebanyak 35 mahasiswa, 2 dosen dan 1 orang staff dari Program Studi Tenik Mesin mendapat kesempatan melakukan kunjungan perusahaan ke PT Komatsu Undercarriage Indonesia (Komatsu). Komatsu adalah salah satu perusahaan industri alat berat dari Jepang yang beroperasi di Indonesia.

“Tujuan melakukan kunjungan industri adalah memberikan wawasan khususnya industri alat berat dan proses yang terdapat didalamnya kepada mahasiswa,” jelas Lydia Anggraeni, Kepala Program Studi Teknik Mesin yang turut mendampingi. Sebelumnya, Program Studi Teknik Mesin telah menjalin kerjasama dalam merealisasikan program teaching plant bersama PT. Bekasi Power.

Selama berkunjung ke Komatsu, mahasiswa dan tim diterima langsung oleh Aria Setyo, Direktur Departemen Administrasi dan Widodo Eko Cahyanto,  Manajer Sumber Daya Manusia dan Urusan Umum PT Komatsu dan diajak melihat ke: forging plant, heat treatment, production, assembling, serta ke Takumi Training Center.
