Last week (December 6 - 8), President University held Research Festival in the Lobby of Building B, President University, Cikarang. Dozens of research posters were displayed which contain methods and results from the research conducted by students and lecturers from various study programs at President University. The purpose of the event is to introduce the research conducted by each study program and also stimulate scientific discussion among students and appreciate the results of research and product/work made by students.
Pekan lalu (6 – 8 Desember), President University menyelenggarakan kegiatan Research Festival di Lobby Gedung B, Kampus President University, Cikarang. Dalam kegiatan ditampilkan puluhan poster tentang metode dan hasil penelitian dosen dan mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi di President University. Tujuan kegiatan adalah untuk memperkenalkan kepada civitas akademika mengenai penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh setiap program studi dan juga menstimulasi diskusi ilmilah di antara mahasiswa serta mengapresiasi hasil penelitian dan produk/karya buatan mahasiswa.
"Posters are not just displayed, at the end of the event there are also awards for the best research posters and favorite presenters. The judgments were carried out by the jury team and also the visitors of the poster," explained Johan Krisnanto Runtuk, S.T., M.T, Lecturer of the Industrial Engineering Study Program as well as Chair of the Research Festival Activities Committee. In particular, students are also given time for presentations to the judges and visitors.
Poster tak hanya sekedar ditampilkan, pada akhir acara juga ada award untuk poster penelitian terbaik dan penyaji terfavorit. Penilaian dilakukan oleh tim juri dan juga pengunjung poster,” jelas Johan Krisnanto Runtuk, S.T., M.T, Dosen Program Studi Industrial Engineering sekaligus menjadi Ketua Panitia Kegiatan Research Festival. Secara khusus, mahasiswa juga diberikan waktu + 5 menit untuk presentasi poster pada tim juri dan pengunjung yang hadir.
The jury team were Prof. Dr. Ir. H.M. Yani Syafei, MT., (Industrial Engineering Study Program), Prof. Dr. Ir. Sony Heru Priyanto (Director of the President Research Center) and Prof. Dr. Slameto, M.Pd. (Primary Teacher Education). There were 28 research posters from lecturers and 21 posters from student research displayed in the event.
Tim juri adalah Prof. Dr. Ir. H.M. Yani Syafei, MT., (Program Studi Teknik Industri), Prof. Dr. Ir. Sony Heru Priyanto (Direktur President Research Center) dan Prof. Dr. Slameto, M.Pd. (Primary Teacher Education). Tercatat ada 28 poster penelitian Dosen dan 21 poster penelitian mahasiswa yang ditampilkan dalam kegiatan.
