To achieve its goal to be an entrepreneurial university, President University designed a subject called “Corporate Entrepreneurship” which could trigger the entrepreneurial spirit. The subject is compulsory for students from the Faculty of Business batch 2017, however, it is available for other majors as well.

The students are divided into 20 companies of 340 students cross-disciplines. Every Friday starting from 8 AM to 11 AM, the teams conduct a meeting to plan their strategy to run the business. Later on, they need to do pitching to get a loan of no more than Rp50 million. At the end of the semester, each business is closed and they need to pay back the loan, submit the financial report which later be audited and the profits will be calculated. Furthermore, all of the profit is allocated to conduct community service/ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

“To be a more developed nation, Indonesia needs 5 million entrepreneurs. President University is determined to give the best by creating new entrepreneurs. We encourage and facilitate students to spark their ideas and creativity and execute it through the business incubator that we have prepared. In such a way, after graduating, students could create new jobs. This is the aspiration that develops among our students, from Y and Z generations,” said Ir. Dwi Larso, MSIE., Ph.D., Vice Rector for Academics President University.

Dwi Larso, MSIE., Ph.D., Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik President University.
